Opening Ceremony-PhBL G1,2&3
A Cosmic Beginning
The PhBL Opening Ceremony for Grades 1, 2, and 3 set the stage for a journey full of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Titled “Around the Planets We Go”, the event celebrated the start of an exciting Phenomenon-Based Learning (PhBL) unit. From the very first moment, students were eager to explore, experiment, and express their ideas in a truly cosmic adventure.
Exploring the Solar System
Students embarked on a journey across planets, each presenting fascinating facts, stories, and puzzles. From Mercury to Neptune, children shared their knowledge about planetary features, climates, and mysteries, engaging both peers and teachers. Their enthusiasm and confidence made science not just informative, but incredibly fun and interactive.
Creativity in Action
The young learners brought the cosmos to life through creative performances, including skits, drawings, and imaginative storytelling. Each class added its unique touch, highlighting teamwork and innovation. The auditorium buzzed with excitement as planets, stars, and rockets came alive through the eyes of our little astronomers.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
PhBL encourages students to connect learning with real-world phenomena, and this opening ceremony exemplified that perfectly. Children solved puzzles, collaborated on experiments, and explored concepts through hands-on activities, showing that curiosity and critical thinking can turn any topic into an adventure.
A Journey to Continue
The event concluded with smiles, applause, and a sense of wonder. Around the Planets We Go was more than an opening ceremony—it was the beginning of a year-long journey of exploration, imagination, and discovery. Our young learners are now ready to dive deeper, fueled by curiosity and excitement for what lies ahead.
