G4 PhBL – Heats for Grades 1,2,3

A Learning Experience Comes to Life

As part of their Phenomenon-Based Learning (PhBL) journey, Grade 4 students stepped into leadership roles by organizing and conducting the PhBL heats for Grades 1, 2, and 3 on 5th December 2025. This event marked a significant milestone, where learning moved beyond planning and entered the realm of real-world application. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students prepared to manage events for their younger peers.

Grade 4 Takes the Lead

Grade 4 students demonstrated remarkable confidence as they took charge of organizing the heats. From explaining rules and managing time to guiding participants and ensuring fairness, the young leaders handled their responsibilities with maturity and enthusiasm. Their ability to coordinate smoothly reflected the skills they have been developing throughout their PhBL journey—planning, communication, and accountability.

Little Athletes in Action

The younger students from Grades 1, 2, and 3 participated with boundless energy and excitement. Cheered on by their peers and guided by the Grade 4 leaders, the little athletes gave their best in every activity. Their enthusiasm added joy to the event, turning each heat into a celebration of movement, participation, and fun.

Teamwork and Sportsmanship

The heats beautifully showcased teamwork at multiple levels. Grade 4 students worked together to manage the event seamlessly, while the younger participants supported and encouraged one another. Sportsmanship was evident throughout, with students learning the importance of following rules, cheering for friends, and celebrating effort over results.

A Proud Moment of Growth

The PhBL heats were a proud moment for the entire school community. They reflected how students can grow into responsible leaders when given trust and opportunity. The event successfully highlighted leadership, teamwork, and sporting spirit in action—proving that meaningful learning happens when students are empowered to lead, serve, and inspire others.
