Atlas Event(Social Science Event 2)

Geography Comes Alive

The Atlas Event (Social Science Event 2) was an exciting and enriching experience that brought geography to life for our students. Held on 30th November 2025, the event transformed classrooms into hubs of exploration where maps, flags, and facts took center stage. Students participated with enthusiasm, ready to discover the world beyond borders and deepen their understanding of global geography.

Exploring Countries and Continents

Through a series of well-designed activities, students explored different countries and continents with confidence and curiosity. They identified nations on the world map, located states, and showcased their knowledge of physical and political geography. The hands-on approach helped students visualize spatial relationships and strengthened their map-reading skills in an engaging and meaningful way.

Flags, Capitals, and Currencies

One of the most engaging aspects of the Atlas Event was learning about national flags, capitals, and currencies. Students demonstrated impressive recall and understanding as they matched flags to countries, named capitals, and identified currencies. These activities not only enhanced memory skills but also helped students appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of nations across the globe.

Confidence Through Teamwork

The house-wise format of the event encouraged teamwork and collaboration. Each house worked together to prepare and present their learning, supporting one another and sharing ideas. Students displayed confidence while answering questions and participating in challenges, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and mutual encouragement.

A World of Learning

The Atlas Event concluded on a high note, leaving students inspired and proud of their learning. It was more than just a geography exercise—it was a celebration of curiosity, confidence, and global awareness. By connecting knowledge with active participation, the event reinforced that learning about the world can be both fun and empowering.
